On February 26, 2025, Binance, the world's largest virtual asset trading platform and leader in the blockchain ecosystem, recently held its first offline cross-border law enforcement training conference with its Thai joint venture Gulf Binance. The conference invited law enforcement personnel from various Asia Pacific countries to exchange knowledge and enhance professional skills, in order to leverage the power of blockchain technology to combat and disrupt illegal activities.
This one-day training course brings together Binance, law enforcement portal Kodex, leading memory blockchain intelligence platform Chainalysis Elliptic、Merkle Science Share experiences and exemplary practices in handling complex cases involving virtual assets with experts from TRM Labs and representatives from law enforcement agencies. This event attracted over 120 speakers and participants from multiple public and private sectors, including the Ministry of Digital Economy and Social Affairs of Thailand, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Cybercrime Atlas program of the World Economic Forum, as well as law enforcement personnel from Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, and Australia. Among them, law enforcement officers from the Taiwan District Prosecutors Office and the Taiwan Criminal Investigation Bureau also shared case studies and case handling skills at the meeting, demonstrating the ability and experience of Taiwanese law enforcement officers in investigating virtual asset cases.
