According to a press release released by the FTX restructuring team, the first distribution to "Convenience Classes" creditors approved under the Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization will begin on February 18, 2025. The record date and payment date for other categories of creditors will be announced separately at an appropriate time.
This initial distribution is limited to qualified creditors who have completed the pre payment requirements. Eligible creditors can expect to receive payment within 1 to 3 working days after February 18, 2025. Users can check whether they meet the claims requirements in step 9 of the claims website.
In addition, some users can already see the claim amount in their BitGO account, but it should be emphasized that these funds will not be officially disbursed until February 18th and cannot be transferred or traded before then.
